Curtain Call
They say that daily laughter actually increases your life expectancy, and we'd like to help you out in that department! The Curtain Call section at the end of each issue features real life stories of humorous things that happen in this crazy business of ours.
Perhaps you remember when the Classical Singer Bulletin Board featured a story of an opera production where real candles were used on stage which resulted in the soprano's dress catching fire and the fire marshall and staff member rushing on stage with fire extinguishers to put her out! Those are the kinds of things we'd like you to tell us about -- humorous experiences you've had on the stage, laugh-out-loud moments in a voice lesson or coaching (whether you were teacher or student), or any other singing-related, real-life, gut-buster experience you'd like to share!
Entries should be no more than 100 words. In addition, $25 will be awarded to those singers whose stories make it into the magazine. Laughter is the best medicine, and a little cash never hurt, either, so submit your stories today!
